Origin & Meaning of TENNYSON SPENCER:
Tennyson is of English origin, meaning "son of Dennis". Spencer is of Old English origin meaning "keeper or dispenser of provisions". Obviously his father's name is not Dennis however Tennyson is also the name of the 19th century British Poet Laureate, Sir Alfred Lord Tennyson, of whom Russell Crowe is reportedly a big fan. He & his wife also later discovered that Danielle had an uncle named Tennyson, making it even more fitting. Spencer is presumably in honour of Charles' mother's side of the family.
